I was kicked in the head 25 yards into race, i actually blacked out for a few seconds and from then on i had trouble seeing and breathing correct.
What would you do differently?:

Try not get kicked in the head is for starters

very slow T1, i had to sit down for a moment from the kick in the head i received, i actually could not see good enough to put shoes on.

Drink a little more, got a cramp in the last mile of race.

started out very bad, had a headache from kick. around 3K i was able to run like i had trained.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing, i think i did ok here, just a very bad start and every thing escolated.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Kick in the head in swim would be the only issue as of right now. I think i was close to a concussion at the end of day.

Event comments:

I enjoyed this race, but it is my first Tri. I will be back next year. This time i will try to avoid any feet to the face.

I did this race last year and I hated the pool swim part of it. Seems like no one estimated their swim time correctly and it made it tough. Nice job of hanging in there and completing the course!
