First reward is....the tradition of my husband, who came to my race and cheered me on and encouraged me, takes me out to breakfast and tells me repeatedly how awesome I am. Second reward is that after the season is over, I decide what piece of tri gear I want to add to my collection for the next year, and I buy it in the early spring to motivate me to start actively training again.

First tri is this Sunday!!!

Plan for reward is Beer, then my free Chipotle Burrito (see CHIPOTLE thread), more beer at a BBQ w/training partners later in the afternoon, and then after we are good and liquored up; the ultimate reward of some naked time with one training partner in particular (she and I have started "seeing each other" lately...)

hehehehehe

Beer, Food, Beer, Tequila, Sex..... in that order. I may need to skip one when I move up to 1/2 IM next year.

I'll try it again, I guess Ron deleted this for some reason yesterday.

Love a good Snowball after a hard workout.  It's an east coast thing, and pretty specifically a Mid Atlantic thing.

Mostly after a long ride at Patapsco, but this weekend after riding the Columbia Tri-course Dodgersmom and I went to the snowball stand.

For those of you in MD, Ellicott City has an awesome stand.

After my first tri I went to the best steakhouse in town, ordered the best steak on the menu and said goodbye to 10 years of vegetarianism. You can take the girl out of Montana, but....

When I was in San Diego and marathon training, I would always reward myself with a Double-Double from In&Out when I would run anything more than 10 miles.

In New Orleans it is Popeye's chicken after long workouts!!!

Waffle House:

Chicken Melt with Bacon plate, Scattered, Smothered Covered.

For the non-initiated, the above meal is dripping with cheese and grease, and may do some damage to your gastro-intenstinal tract.  My mouth is watering just thinking about it...

Either the above or a Half-Slab of ribs at Fat Matt's Rib Shack.  Mmmmmm.   Rrrrrriiiiiiibbbbbbssssss.  I'm drooling like Homer Simpson

You guys are funny. All the food stuffs you reward yourself with are the same stuff I consume regularly!! So, I don't do food rewards :-)

Actually, I don't reward myself at all. I did have a massage after the local sprint last year - but they were free at the race so I am not sure if that counts.

hehehehehe

"in PARTICULAR". Does this mean that your other training partners will be naked too, just that you won`t be paying as much attention to them? .

I would reward myself with beer, and some wacky tabacky if I was still in the states.
