Does anyone give themselves a present after a triathlon? Like if you meet your goal time, or decrease transition time, or if it's your very first tri...

What kind of presents do you give yourself?

Carne Asada burrito after every race and or long ride.
I don't usually have strict time goals so that's not what makes a good race for me.

After my first 1/2im I treated myself to a huge plate of deep-fried seafood, two rumrunners and an eleven-hour nap. More importantly,  I trteated my wife to a long weekend at the beach.

44 ounce Coke products are my biggest rewards. I only drink a Coke after a race and on Sundays.

I will also go to McDonalds for breakfast if it is early enough after my race or on the Monday after. It is amazing how motivated I can get for a couple of Bacon Egg and Cheese Bisquits. mmmm....

I went wild and bought myself 1.2 carat diamond stud earrings after completing my first sprint race. I haven't rewarded myself again since. (!!!!)

I wanted them anyway, and I used my achievement as an excuse to finally get them!

Not so much a reward, but I always crave eggs after racing so I stop on the way home for a big omlette. (Kind of a weird craving - I know)

I had 3 beers after, and I felt like I had 6 of them. Talk about a cheap date.

Anything that is not nailed down. I tend to get into serious munching after a race, regardless of the distance. Chocolate is high on the list on things to reward myself with.......

Wait a second...........

What am I saying? "High on the list", it's the only thing on the list. :-)
