Little Rock Area

Hey Andrew.  Little Rock is a wonderful place for swim, bike and running.  Two of the most reasonably priced pools are War Memorial and the Westside YMCA.  They Y has an indoor 25 yd pool open year round and 50 meter outdoor pool open during summer.  As far as biking, the River Trail is a great place to head out for 25 miles or so.  Anything longer than that, and you will have to his some roads with it.  The river trail is great for running as well.  I would check with the local bike shops when you get here.  There are always groups of different levels out and riding.  There aren't many tris right here in Little Rock, bu there are plenty throughout the state which are only about 2 hours away.  Give me a shout with any questions about the area.

Riverfront area would be perfect, you'd be right on the river trail. 

There is a tri club in the central Arkansas area, I think they may be from Cabot.  I know they do some open water swimming, but that's the extent of my knowledge.  I've head of folks swimming in the ski course which is part of the river, but it's not the cleanest.  Beaverfork Lake is only about 30 minutes North, in Conway, and I've heard of folks swimming there before.  There is a tri there each year as well (Toad Suck).

My favorite sprint is in Heber Springs in early October.  Love the lake and the town, and they put on a good race.
