I'm in, just signed up for it last week.... one thing though, just over a week out and no info on packet pickup??

I found the race director's e-mail.

I sent him an e-mail asking abotu packet pick up.  It is not listed anywhere, includign the spam message he sent about the race.

Hmmm...I'm planning on this one being self supported.

Did you ever hear anything back from these people???  I can't believe they don't have info out on this race, it's a week away!!  I just sent an email to the one contact I could find, which is Captex, so I'll let you know if I find out anything too....

I got a response.

Friday at Jack & Adam's from 2 to 7.

If we keep this secret, maybe we are guaranteed podium spots????

We just won't tell anyone that we were the only ones there

I got a response too... said they would be sending out info on Monday or Tuesday... seems odd to only have packet pick up on Friday.... I have to travel an hour to get to Austin, Saturday would be much better!

If there was a way for me to pick up your packet, I would.

Thanks Hugh, but I need to make the trip to Austin anyway since one of my puppies ATE the Yankz off my running shoes and I can't find them up here!  I always love an excuse to visit Jack and Adam's!

Hugh, did you pick up your packet??  It looks like there's maybe 50 people competing???  Guy told me almost everyone is going to get a medal...  Hope it isn't raining, but that may just be wishful thinking.  Oh and I didn't get any stinkin' arm band in my packet either!

No wrist band for me either.

This is quite possibly the smallest tri I will ever have done.

it is the first one that will not be chip timed.
