Subject: Swim cap question
This is kind of silly but I know I should probably get a swim cap, but I see in some tri viseos that the cap colors seem to be coordinated by male or female. Are caps provided at the big races? I am going to do a few sprints and maybe a couple olys. Thanks, Matt

yea any race that starts in waves will def have different color caps but they are typically a little less well made than one that you buy for daily usage

Caps have been provided at every race I have done except one. It was a smaller race and a pool swim, so if you wanted a cap you had to provide your own.

If your tri's have OWS and wave starts, 99.9% chance they will provide you with the cap.

At races you'll get one. Not a bad idea to pick one up for the pool though. A cheap (about $5) way to protect your hair from the chlorine.
