Well kiddies, time to start thinking about this week's ILRA ride.  I  may be getting there a little early this week.   As early as the clock at work allows at least.   I can only leave Auburn Hills by 4PM so with construction I may arrive at 5 or 5:30...

My big thing is that I need to get in 50 miles this weekend and with the weather on Sunday looking pretty iffy, I am going to attempt to get them in Thurday - 4 loops of ILRA, if I can stand that much looping.  =) 

You are welcome to join in the very repetitive fun!  If no takers, then I will see you out there, Mike will be there as well on tap for 1 loop and a short brick possibly.

This week, weather permitting, I shall be riding only 2 loops (darn traffic getting in the way of my 4!) and then possibly a very short 15 minute or so brick off of the bike to shake out these legs.

I will be there, but I will be starting earlier than that, since I have a training class that is basically right across the street from ILRA, and it gets out at 4pm.  (How awesome is that!?)  So I will be riding starting around 4:15 or so - shooting for at least 30 miles, so a couple of loops plus Kensington, I think.  If anyone wants to start earlier, just let me know. 

My class actually runs Tuesday-Friday, so I will be out there around that same time each of those days, if anyone is interested in joining me.  I will be riding on Tuesday, running on Wednesday, and I think I will be doing my long run on Friday (9 miles around a 10:45-11:00 pace).

How warm do you think the water is?    I've been thinking of doing some ows over at Island Lake since I'll be doing the race there at the end of the month, but figured it was still frigid cold...  haha

I think the earliest I can get there is 5:30.

I am packing my wetsuit, bike gear, and running gear.  2 of the 3 will be used.  If people are doing an OWS, then that is 1 of 2.

Steve and I will be riding 2 loops before swimming. We will be ready to ride by 3:30 then swim. Is everyone planning on swimming at 5-5:30?

Do you mind if I join you all tomorrow for a swim?  Where do you all meet (What lake do you swim in?)  Are you planning on wearing anything more than a wetsuit (hood, booties? -- this is going to be cold!  haha)
