Run
Comments: Asked Deb if she'd like me to run with her which she said I could. So I said I'd run with her the 1st 2 miles and then if she was fine I'd go on and run the last one hard. When the horn went off it was at least 20 seconds before we hit the starting line and it was quite crowded. I tried to just follow along with Deb as she moved in and around people and got a drink for her at the 1st aide station. She was 9:10 to the 1st mile and around 10 minute for the second mile. She was doing file and told me to go ahead and go. I ran the last 1.1 pretty hard at around a 7:15/mile pace. After I finished jogged back out to meet up with Deb to cheer her in. What would you do differently?: Not run with the wife but she appreciated it so all in a days work. Race was really about supporting the charity for me anyway. Post race
Warm down: Group photo with our newly formed running club at work the Wicked Blisters as we had about 15 of us running. What limited your ability to perform faster: Strategy. Event comments: Race is for charity called Ryan's Quest so it's a great cause and will do it every year they have it. Last updated: 2010-04-12 12:00 AM

Got up and did some painting as Nicole was out to breakfast with the in-laws. Then drove over the few miles to the race with Deb who was running also.
Ran from the port-a-potties to the start line.
