3oh!3 - Want (the whole album)
Kesha - Animal (again, the whole album)

Go ahead...laugh. lol Once I really started listening to those albums they became addictive. Kind of like cotton candy. Sweet, disgusting, cheap but once you start eating it you can't stop. Then your teeth feel dirty.

syrwxman - 2010-04-17 8:35 PM I like the Hanna Montana alias Miley Cyrus's The Climb. I think my 3 daughters have brain washed me.

Love the song but cannot listen because i know it is Miley.  Anyone else and this song is very inspirational.

Great thread as I'm always looking for new music. It's cool to see that everyone has something different to add. So, here's my recent fav 5:

Mambo #5 (Lou Bega)
Lose Yourself (Eminem)
Big Sh#@ Poppin' (TI)
Empire State of Mind (Jay Z & Alicia Keys)
Jai Ho (Slumdog Millionaire Soundtrack)

Bane made a list, that's awesome.  That Fugazi would also be on my list, but I can only pick five.

1. You Will Move, Burnt By The Sun
2. Epicure, Harvest
3. Bloodshed Rain, Disembodied
4. The Saddest Day, Converge
5. The Great American Going Out of Business Sale, Dillinger Four

Can you tell I'm an older punk kid from Minnesota?

This makes me a little sad.

1. Lose Yourself - Eminem. ("You can do anything you set your mind to, man." Very motivational lyric.)
2 - 5. Anything by Rush.

Prong rocked. I haven't listened to them in years...

I rotate pretty often, but in general something from the list below is playing during a run:

1) Anthing from Alice in Chains
2) Old Metallica
3) Foo Fighters
4) Led Zeppelin
5) A good old 80's hair band (Motley, Ozzy, and yes... even Poison)

My favorites change frequently so I love these fav song threads.  My current favs in the shuffle are:

STP - Plush (live) not really a good running song, just love when my ipod picks it
Sublime - Luvin Is What I got (live) - the non-live version sucks
Smashing Pumpkins - Cherub Rock
Elderly Woman Behind the Counter in a Small Town - Pearl Jam - not really a good running song but I love that album cd
Counting Crows - Have You Seen Me Lately (acoustic - )
Head East - Never Been Any Reason - oldie but goodie
