Comments:

water was perfect for the wetsuit. Realized at swim start that my wetsuit was inside out. Had to make a quick change. My sighting was bad. Need to work on that. Also, the finish exit point was a little confusing.
What would you do differently?:

I started later than supposed to. My number was 422 but I started at the 442 spot. I am not sure if that affected my time. My polar said I did the swim 90 seconds faster

I just corrected for the wrong swim time

Comments:

Thought I would be a little faster because of my marathon training
What would you do differently?:

Finish mat was a little confusing. You had to go to the second mat. That added 5 seconds because I walked between mats. I gave myself credit for the 5 seconds!
Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster:

need to lose a little weight

Event comments:

Race started about 10 minutes late. Pizza/hot dogs at the end was a nice treat. However, you had to wait in line for 20 minutes to get the food. That was not good.

Nice race John K! We all need a little more bike seat time right now. That's what makes the first race of the year so much fun!

Nice job!  Sorry I missed you but I did meet up with Rodney.

Oh and for swim time, your time is based on what time you were supposed to start.  Just go and subtract the time between when you were supposed to start and when you did you will have your time.

One of my highlights of the day was cheering for you on the 5K course.  Well done my friend.
