Pre-race routine:

Woke up early for the 1 hour drive, small breakfast, loaded up the bike and took off! Got their with plenty of time to get ready.
Event warmup:

10 minutes in the pool.

Swim was a mess. Went out way too fast. I caught up to a second person after the passing lane and that threw my off. He wouldn't let me pass at the wall so I literally had to stop a couple of times in the last few laps. Last lane I finally was able to pass.
What would you do differently?:

Gone out slower, more under control.

My time was actually better than this but they included transition times into the split time. I actually average pretty close to 20mph, if my computer is to be believed!

Not much. I pushed pretty hard and thought I had a good ride. Still need to work on my T1 transition.

First mile was slow - still out of breath from the bike, where I felt I pushed pretty hard. Picked it up during the run - last mile was a 6:40.
What would you do differently?:

Not much, perhaps start pushing harder a little sooner. Really kind of took it easy in mile 1.
