Comments: Wanted to run the first 7 miles at 61 minutes. And then evaluate from there. I actually hit 7 miles at about 58:30 and felt GREAT! The heart rate was pretty good and the legs felt great. I maintained that pace till about mile 11 and gradually kicked up the pace to finish strong. Running across those bridges was a joy. It was bouncing and made your legs feel like jelly. Not a good thing at that point in the race. What would you do differently?: Not much. It was a pretty good run for me. Post race

Got up at 5:00 AM.
Ate 1/3 cup oatmeal and a cup of coffee. Left the house about 5:45 AM.
Good stretching prior to race start. Got caught in the line to use the bathroom when race started. Not nearly enough bathrooms at the race start for the number of people.
