Does anyone do anything interesting with their race bibs?  I've kept mine from every event for the past 3 years and I'd hate to just toss them after spending so much time, sweat, tears and blood with them.

Any suggestions on ways to display them that won't offend the Mrs. or not blend in with the house decor???

Mine are in the garage. Tacked to the wall with thumb tacks. Finishing time/placement written on them. They line the walls.

When I'm confined to the trainer in the garage, it's something to stare at

store them in a shoebox.  someday, I might right my finish times on them and put them in a binder/book.

I've never saved any of mine, although I like the idea of having some motivation for trainer rides.

Err, I usually set up my trainer in the office where the lady would not approve of a race bib display. I need a bigger garage!

I only keep certain ones from some of my A races for the year.  I have no desire to keep all ones for my training races.  They currently end up in a shoebox though, so not sure why I keep them either.  Maybe if I do really really well in an A race, get a medal or something I'll have it framed with the medal and the time written on it or something.

I have a photo album type of binder that all my bibs go into along with a brief rundown of the race mementos etc.  Guess you could call it a scrap book without all the junk that people put in them now.  I used to hang them in my Den but it began to look like my old dorm room LOL!

I've got my recent ones hanging on a magnet clip on my refrigerator door...as a reminder/incentive.

Me too... here is mine from a few years ago. I start fresh every race season.

And just recently, I took the bibs from my most memorable races (all years), and did something like what's on the fridge but it is vertical. It's hanging in my office - my "me" room along with framed photos of me racing and awards and such.

Same thing for me; my wife is a photog so I also choose a picture she took from each race to put next to the bib.  It's funny to look back (first race was 1991) and see the changes in physique and race times.

This year I've been hanging them in my classroom (I teach 4th grade).  My students know when I'm racing and they enjoy seeing my bibs on the Monday following a  race.  My husband and I have a bunch at home too - saved for a time when I can organize them into an album.

I write my time and placement on each one and keep it in a binder.  When my donors brother gets old enough to appreciate it, they will go to him to help him remember what a great thing his big sister did (he is 6 right now).

That's what I want to do with mine, and add a note or story about each race. So when I'm old I can relive my youth. Plus I can bore the grandkids with stories.

Unfortunately, I started with stapling them to the garage wall. Now I have a few dozen on the walls, and since I'm OCD enough to want to start my album from the beginning, I haven't. So for years now I've been shoving them in a file folder instead of either stapling them to the wall or getting that album started.

Sigh.

Wallpaper in the laundry room with husband's and both of our random race certificates, photos, map of states raced in, etc.  It was a hideous laundry room so we couldn't go wrong.  We're running out of room though, so now I might have to get more creative.
