Well hello to all.

First off, im from around pittsburgh and i go to edinboro university.  I just finished my college swimming career a few months ago.  My aunt and uncle do tris down in Texas and that kind of sparked my interest.

I plan to do about three or four tris this summer, if the first one goes well.  One in edinboro, erie, pittsburgh and maybe syracuse.

Happy training.

Welcome! I also come from a swimming/water polo background. Many triathletes have the most anxiety over the swim leg so you're off to a good start. Of course, us swimmers wish that leg was a little longer.

You will find plenty of experienced runner and cyclists on these forums to help you.

Good luck!

Swimmers and runners seem to make the best triathletes. I know many college swimmers turned triathletes and they love it.

Good luck and have a great time...
