Set Up Events
Total Time = 1h 19m 46s
Overall Rank = /
Age Group = 35 - 39
Age Group Rank = 2/121
Pre-race routine:

Smoothie and coffee and lots of potty breaks.
Event warmup:

Short bike then a short swim.
  • 13m 1s
  • 820 yards
  • 01m 35s / 100 yards

My breathing got wacked a few times for some reason. I wasn't as relaxed as I would have liked to have been but still a good performance.
Transition 1
  • 03m 18s

My transitions always suck and I'm not sure why. I guess I need to practice more. On a side note the run from the swim exit to bikes was at least 400 yards if nto more.
  • 35m 50s
  • 12.43 miles
  • 20.81 mile/hr

Good ride but I could have pushed a little harder. I don't like wet roads and it was starting to drizzle on the bike.
What would you do differently?:

Transition 2
  • 01m 39s

Another slow transition.
What would you do differently?:

Clueless right now.
  • 25m 59s
  • 3.11 miles
  • 08m 21s  min/mile

My runs are too darn slow. If I could get my run faster I could be much more competitive.
What would you do differently?:

Run more :)

Event comments:

I am really surprised that I placed 2nd in my age group. This leaves me hungry to improve my performance because it feels darn good to place.
