Comments: This was my best race at this distance since starting up running again a couple of years ago. The conditions were ideal (unlike last year that was 30-35 degrees warmer). I started very slow (8:55 first mile) and had negative splits. Chi running has really helped my overall running. What would you do differently?: Nothing Post race
Warm down: Some stretching. When I got home I slept for 2.5 hours after lunch. Event comments: I really enjoyed this race. I was more than 14 minutes faster than when I ran this last April, and 3.5 minutes faster than an easier course last fall. I'm thinking with some more run training I might be able to get below 7:30 per mile, but I'm not holding my breath at this point. Last updated: 2010-02-20 12:00 AM
