Pre-race routine:

Ata a banana, downed some rasberry Hammer Gel. Drank a couple red bulls.
Event warmup:

Not much, just a little jog from the car to the start line.

PR'ed by one minute, so Im happy with the result.
What would you do differently?:

Just get more training in. Hoped to do better but I think I need to step up my effort in training runs. Hope to be under the hour mark by years end.
Post race
Warm down:

Grabbed some post-race pasta and walked to the subway with wife and her friend. The wife just barely missed her goal of under an hour, but she had some calf issues around mile 5. I know she has it in her. Trick is getting her to know that too. Didnt feel like waiting in line for a farecard so I walked home.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Not lack of training, but time spent training to date. Perhaps effort level in training needs to be stepped up.

Event comments:

Good race. So long as the times keep dropping, Im happy.
