Hey Gang!  I'm BAAAAAAAAAAAACK!  I think my hot yoga has helped detox me from my Ironman Lazy feeling.  I didn't want to do a thing!  All my big plans didn't happen.  I've done a few little races but haven't trained for any of them.  I'm going to catch up and try to think of a new plan.  Maybe I'll do SOMA with Leah!  Looking forward to catching up.

I think I found an easy way to lose weight. Went on a 7 mile run and lost 3.5 lbs in 1.5 hours..pretty good!  I hope to hell I have rehydrated enough not to be up all night with cramping and other assorted issues that I will not talk about in polite company.

Team Nutsos!

How's everyone doing? Man i've been so frustrated with this season, with weight loss, with all of it, but i'm trying to turn it around. Big races coming up for us WI bound folks. Scott your training is looking good. Debb you are rocking out those long hilly rides.

Decided that after Door i'm going to do one more Oly and then hang up the tri season. Will focus on prepping for marathon - and losing the last of the GD weight, hopefully those two things will go hand in hand. If i'm going to attempt an IM next year I want to be at or below my goal weight on 1 Jan 2012! Grr!

Keep it up everyone!

I just wanted to check in and sya hi. I have been busy with school but I have my training plan in place for Miami Man HIM in November if I can keep up with the training.

I haven't lost weight recently but I also haven't been trying but I'm back with it now so we will see what happens.

So since HIM training is on I got a 30 mile ride in this morning and I'm going to head out for another 20 in the morning before we hit the pool for a swim workout.

Happy 4th to everyone I hope to check in a lot more.

Well, I haven't posted in AGES! Just trying to gear up for my duathlon August 7th and Irongirl August 21st. I'm hoping to PR again at Irongirl this year and hopefully even beat a friend of mine from my Master's Swim. We're usually the same pace but lately I'm lapping her!

I completed the Chesapeake Challenge MS Ride and got in all 150 miles over the weekend last month. I'm still in awe that I did it! Great ride, humidity was a little high but there was some good cloud cover so the sun wasn't out as much and I think that definitely played a factor! Already signed up for next year!!! Leah, thanks again for your donation! I made Top Crab my first time participating and raised over $1300.

I'm also concentrating on doing the Marine Corps Marathon at the end of October, figured that would be a great way to ring in my 40th! I registered back in February but then had been debating since the Cherry Blossom 10-miler if I really wanted to do it. Finally made the decision of YES last week and now focusing on training...yikes!

Hope everyone is having a great summer with lots of fun in between training!
