Hubby is now into tris and I need a bday gift for him.  Budget: $120.

He has: Bike, helmet, cyclometer, HRM, bike shoes, jammers, tri shirt, bike shorts,  running shoes, zoomers, goggles.

Anything out there you can suggest for a gift?

Gift certificate from  local spa for massage.  My sister gave me one for Christmas for a spa in NH not far from Timberman location.  I'm going to go there either before or after the race.

Another possibility if hubby isn't into massage would be a gift certificate from TriSports.com.  BT members get 10% discount.

How about the ultimate triathlon goodie bag? $120 could buy a lot of cool stuff. I just got a Bento Box for $14 and it's great! I also really like my $30 bike pump with a fold-down foot rest, telescoping flexible nozzle-thingy, and built-in pressure gauge. A roll of duct tape goes a long way. Little band-aids for the nipples. A small bottle of baby shampoo for goggle anit-fog. A new body glide. Run hydration. Head sweat band or bandana thing. A pair of toe socks (Injinji?). Hmmmm.... I bet there are a lot more low-dollar amount items that are essential for the triathlete that would add up to an exciting gift.

I like the idea of a goodie bag.  Why not put it all in a New Sports Bag too.

Excellent idea about the Goodie bag. My wife did this for me and it was a great idea. She had; speed laces, nipgurads, fuel belt, swim googles, tri book and a some CK1 summer, she packaged it in a running hat. Clever girl. The small things are what we always forget and are somtimes the most appreciated.

Rather than a goodie bag why not just the bag.

Seems that a tri-bag to hold all the gear he already has would be appropriate and good ones can be found for $120 or less.  In fact, you may have some left over to buy some of the little goodies that everyone else mentioned.

How about a coaching package?  Either swimming, or one of those online packages, like from Carmichael Systems (or wherever).

A goodie bag with some various gels/bars, extra water bottles, etc. is a great idea too.

My birthday is coming up, you can get me either one of those things!

I like some of the other ideas like sunglasse, a lesson, etc, but I thought I would add some more.

What about one or multiple of these items:

-Bike Tune Up
-Bike Trainer for the winter months (I don't know if you can get one for under $120 or not)
-Entry fee for a race he normally woudn't sign up for
-Books, DVDs, etc (TI DVD, Zinn and the Art of Road Bike Maintenance, Triathlete Training Bible)
-Aerobars
-New seat
-Garmin Forerunner 201 (GPS wristband)

Don't know if bike trainer was left off the list.  If he has that, how about some SPINERVAL dvd's for indoor bike training during Utah's loooong winter season.
