Weather is getting warm, nice enough for a open water swim tonight. There is a strong smell of nitromethane in the air, and the loud roar of engines will be starting up around 16th Street - what does that mean? It's Mini Marathon time!

P.S. Its not nitromethane, its methanol. Nitromethane is for top fuel drag cars.

I was in corral C, bib 25007.

The wind was pretty horrible today but I had a good race.  A new PR for me (1:38:00).

How did everyone else do?

Started from A and ended up with a pr of 1:21:50. The wind was a factor but I laid back the first half. I negative split the crap out of it today! Once you left the track it was nice!

I started in corral B and got a PR of 1:33!

I was NOT expecting to go even lower than 1:50 since I've been celebrating my graduation during the last "couple" of weeks, and I live about 1hr 30 mins from Indy. so I had to drive back and forth for the expo AND today at 5am.
But no complaints at all (with a PR no one does.. right?)
First time in the mini-marathon and loved it! hope to be back other year

Had a great day! First time running the mini and had great time. Ran wit my training partner we sat out for a 1:48:00 goal and ran 1:48:33, not bad for stopping twice and I knocked 14:00 minutes off my last 1/2!
