Subject: OWS in KC
Has anyone started doing OWS in the KC area yet?  I am looking to get a few in befor the Kansas HIM.  I know that Shawnee Mission Park has them starting in late May/early June, but I would really like to get out there before that.

Please let me know if and where anyone may be doing them right now.  Thanks.

I think Hillsdale beach opens the weekend before KC Tri. I am also looking into a friend who has a boat and going out to Longview with them to get one in . If you know of anyone with a boat that is an option or even if you know someone that lives on a private lake. I have also heard of people doing OWS at Lake Olathe too.

I know a lot of people at my work go to the Longview lake swimming beach.  It's the same area for the KC and Jackson Co tri's.  They are upon until like sunset or something and usually if you tell them you are just doing and OWS, they'll let you in for free.  Just look official, it's some high school kids and they don't care...  =)
