Ok, it is that time of year again. Starting the role call for those in the Cult de Cranberry. I have registered for both the Sprint and Oly again this year. With any kind of luck, the weather will be better, and both races will be able to be run.  Let the fun begin!

You are doing this earlier and earlier every year.

I am not racing, but will be there to cheer for BTers/ volunteer.

Does it usually sell out (and if so how early?)

It most definitely sells out. I would say if you are looking to get in, earlier is better. I think it closed before July 4th last year.

Sprint closed out in early August in 2009.  Will probably sell out earlier this year, given the fate of last year's race...

I'm signed up for the Olympic. It will be my first triathlon unless I sign up for an earlier Sprint, which I was going to, but haven't yet...

We're doing the Olympic as it's the club regional championship. The interesting part is that it's a week after Timberman. Hopefully, I'll have enough back in the tank by then to finish!

It's my first Olympic. I hope it goes better than the Season Opener Sprint for me Smile

Quite a few Tri-NE members & BT people are doing it so I am excited!

Anyone do Timberman HIM and Cranberry OLY last year?  What was the experience?  I am competing in the Timberman HIM (A Race for me) and doubtful that a week recovery is enough to also do Cranberry.  Curious if anyone has experience with these two back to back.  Otherwise I may be just a supporter at the race.

We're going to attempt the Timberman/Cranberry back to back. Cranberry will be part of the regional club championship for Wheelworks.

Good decision..you will meet lots and lots of BTers. It's sort of the unofficial BT race of the season.

I've been debating signing up for Oly as not sure given knee surgery.

Just checked Active and Oly is full.

I signed up for the wait list...for $4.75...$1 for the wait list fee and $3.75 for Active fee.

Optimistic I can be good to go then.

No matter what I'll be there this year as my husband is doing it as his first Oly.

Also waitlisted, though I'm not overly disappointed as I'm doing Timberman and the prospects of slogging through an OLY 7 days later doesn't sound too fun.  I was only planning on doing it to give my club better numbers.  Oh well, maybe I get in last minute...one thing's for sure, I'll be more than trained up for it.
