Heh, just a reference to a flatlander racing at altitude.

 

In all honesty, once my internship starts up, I won't have much time to race/train other than what I can get done on the weekends..

In here, too!  Same as you- tune up for IMKS.  I know TriOK is going to be there, and a few others.  If you guys are up for a meetup/picture for the site, let's try and coordinate.  I guarantee I'm probably the biggest person out there- 6'5, 240!  I ride a yellow Felt, can't miss me!  I'm also one of the first out of the water and I get blown by on the run.

Look for the Speed for Rent PACE BOOTY t-shirt.I want to try to get up to the lake to check out the water before Sunday. Is that possible? I'm not really excited about the first OWS of the year being race morning. This is my first race in a year and a half.

I'm in, too. First tri ever, so this should be interesting.

I just rented the wetsuit so it's finally becoming real. Now I just have to be that noob in the pool trying out the wetsuit, since Boulder Res is being lame and not opening til next week.

It's also a tune-up for me, but I'm not nearly as ambitious as you HIM folks. I've just got the Loveland Lake to Lake Olympic race in June in my sights

Good luck to everyone at the race.  I'll be there volunteering... my duties have been assigned:

Registration Tent - Body Marking and TA Security

If anyone needs anything I'll have all my tri gear in my car, so don't hesitate to come over to the Reg area / body marking and find me (my name is Pete in the real world).  Whether your bike fell off your car on the way there, you forgot your front wheel, ripped your wetsuit, just need a tube, body glide/PAM, or race number belt, etc...   Don't hesitate to seek me out and ask.

I'm hoping they'll let me go from an OWS of my own after the race.
