Swim
Comments: Seeing that I just started swiming in January of this year I felt I did very well in my swim. What would you do differently?: Force the pass. Transition 1
Comments: Transitions were horrible! I think I could have jumped a couple of spots by practicing these a little. Dirty wet feet and socks... Skip the shorts (they didn't make a difference in warmth) just ride in swim suit. What would you do differently?: Practice!!! Bike
Comments: Should have pushed a little more, but I always have fun on my bike. What would you do differently?: PUSH MYSELF HARDER!!! Transition 2
Comments: Changing shoes took too long! Removed jacket, was happy I had it on the ride. Riped my race number while puting it on so I had to try and re-attach it to my belt. What would you do differently?: PRACTICE!!! Run
Comments: Great Kick, need to do some speed workouts to bring down my overall time. What would you do differently?: Need to work on my speed/stride. Post race
Warm down: Walking around finish and chearing on my wife and everyone else. What limited your ability to perform faster: I am not sure, but I think that doing some more interval training for the run and some transition training would definitely help. Event comments: I had a great time. This was my first Tri so I have nothing to compare it to. But I really had a great time, and next time I will push myself even more... Got up just after 5am and had some kashi. Then loaded up everything into the van and we headed out, on the road by 5:45... wahoo! off to my first race. Nerves were apparent and I forced down a banana and a sweet and salty peanut granola bar by 6:30, about 2 hours before my wave start.
