SheRox on Sunday is going to be my first tri!  I am so excited and nervous.

The thing that I'm most scared of is the big downhill.  I've biked the course, but I braked pretty much the whole way down and it took me forever.

Does anyone have any advice?  Thanks!

If you are afraid, go slow and stay to the right. It may rain...dont ride on white or yellow paint. When its wet its very slippery. Good luck! Its a great race ....you will be fine!

Also, make sure you attend one of the athlete's meetings today at the expo.  They will share good advice.

Times are up.  Does anyone know why so many people had DQs?

i had a great time doing this race, it was my first ever tri!

but... i was wondering, was the swim really 880yds (0.5 mile)?!
it didn't feel that far and I finished much quicker than expected.

I know there were a lot of people that didn't finish but I didn't realize it was that many.

I love this course. I have done it two other times in the past...beat my last year time by over 18 mins. YAY!

How did everyone do?

I must be looking at a different sheet
Is DQ as stated in earlier post  = disqualified?
Where did you see the DNFs on the list?

Anyone know what was up with so many missing T1 and bike times? They seemed clustered a bit in places .

It was a lot of fun

SheRox was my second tri.  That hill is a bugger, huh?  A special thanks goes out to the immensely kind woman who stopped to help me with my chain halfway up the hill.  Thank you!
