Pre-race routine:

Got dressed at Equinox, walked all the way to the GATX/TTX tent which seemed like it was in Indiana. Got a couple potty breaks in! Drank some Vitamin Water.

Little stretching, mostly just waiting around!

Comments:

WTF. Seemed like half the crowd in front of me was walking this thing. Why didn't they stay in back with the rest of the non-competitors? I thought my pace could have been much better if I wasn't weaving in and out of groups of non runners.
What would you do differently?:

Go to the front of the pace lines instead in back.

Warm down:

Ate a banana, drank some water and walked the long way back to the tent.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Walkers, walkers. I mean really, WTF. I have no problem with you walking the course, fine, but have some courtesy and stay behind the runners in the starting corral.

Event comments:

They really need to tell people that are walking with 20 of their friends to stay behind the RUNNERS in the starting corral.

nice job...and it really is annoying when people do not seed temselves in the back when they plan on going slow/walking
