Swim
What would you do differently?: Swim faster... I was happy with this performance. Despite some large rolling waves an fighting with the mass start, thus was one of my better swims. Transition 1
Comments: The mount line for this race is at the bottom of a hill. It makes for an interesting start. Another gut swerved into me as we were both starting out. Our handle bars locked up, but we were able to separate and continue without anyone going down! Bike
Comments: Last year I thought this course was incredibly difficult. I had a very hard time an it left me wasted for the run... This year it felt like my chain wasn't attached ti anything and I decimated the bike course. No one passed me, and I made up for my "average" swim time! Transition 2
Comments: This was really cool. A camerman chased me into the transition are and video'd my transition. Nothing like a camer over your shoulder to make you work a little faster :) Run
Post race
Warm down: Cold towel wrapped around me and a couple bottles of water. Short massage. Lots more to drink afterwards. Last updated: 2010-03-23 12:00 AM
