Subject: How Do I Update My 310xt
I can't get my Garmin to update.  I follow the instructions on the site but when i check my Garmin it still reads as 2.6 rather then 2.9 and I can not get it to say "swim" in the "other mode.

You need to follow the instruction that says to add their site to your trusted list in Internet explorer 8 or whatever.

If you don't do it, it downloads then just says "complete" but doesn't do anything.

Once above is fixed, it will download the update to the ant agent, then next time your watch is in range it updates. Beware though it erases everything on the watch - it's like it's fresh out of the box.

Mine didn't erase everything, and I am using the updated firmware. It will still say "other" rather than swim, but in the "other" settings there is the option to enable swim features.
