I had a great week nutrition wise.  I averaged 1713 calories per day and managed a perfect 40, 30, 30 split.  I also was great with my workouts.  Sunday I hit the trails again with a Camelback on and spent 2 hours and 20 minutes traipsing through the woods.  All the water I was retaining last week is gone and I hit goal with a little to spare.

Goal - 186

May 26th -195.5
June 2nd - 193.5
June 9th - 189.5
June 16th - 188.5
June 23rd - 190.5
June 30th - 185

185 is a big number for me - I started at 235 on February 2nd so I am officially down 50 pounds now.

Well officially I am down to 235 from 240 last week. I am trying the peachy  and so far so good now I just need to get a little bit more control over my nutrition.

Well I reached my goad and beyond. Yippee

Fitness:  Exercised all but one day (yesterday) that was planned.  Sunday is my off day.

Calorie goal of under 1900:  Went over 1900cals five times since starting counting on the 7th but never went over by more than a few hundred calories so there was still a deficit every day. 

It is hard to believe how much just 8lbs of weight can make a difference how I feel, how my clothes fit, etc.  Can't wait to be under 200 again.

Congrats everyone... My goal was under 240 I am now down to a weight I was in College in the 230's I can see 220's in sight and I have not seen that weight since who knows when.

I was hoping for a bit more loss this week. But I did my first 91 km bike ride on Saturday, personal record for me, with help from two friends pushing...

The rest of Saturday and Sunday I ate everything in site.... and craved CARBS like you would not believe...lol.... It was a great ride... Very proud of myself.. And I maintained under 240 after eating like that...

Vacation next week up North... so if I maintain next week I will be happy then back onto next months goal..

Congrats everyone... keep up the hard work it is worth it.  I started at 263 down to 238.5. 24.5 lbs in 2.5 months... YES..

Great job Techdiver.

Set you goals now for your vacation.  If you can walk/run/bike/something everyday and plan on it the day before, it will help alot.  Just try to stay away from the wasteful calories like deserts, sodas, sweet drinks and stay away from fried foods.  Choose the healthier options if you can when eating out.  Maybe take some preprepared muffins, granola bars, etc to use as a substitute if there are no other choices. 

In short, be determined to keep the vacation from setting you back.  It will be a great feeling to end the vacation without gaining any weight.  Personally, I would just try to keep from gaining rather than trying to lose while in vacation.

Didn't quite reach my goal.  Yesterday was my 2nd anniversary with the wife and I needed a rest day for my legs to recover so I ate more than I should of but it was really good.  Looking forward to working towards next month goal.

Only down .5.  I was surprised...clothes are fitting looser so I thought I'd be down, but that just means I'm losing inches!  I'll take it.  I was hoping to be 130, but I'll just reset that goal!

Anyone else nervous about the July 4th festivities?  We have company coming today through Monday, July 5th.  I'm going to try very hard to keep eating on track and still get my workouts in!  My brother and his wife and kids are generally healthy eaters though, so that will help.

I'm beginning to wonder about my scale. It's fluctuating daily two pounds or more and it's a little annoying. Just the other day I went to bed weighing 202 then woke up weighing 205. I'll weigh 204.5 then a few minutes later I'm weighing 206. I'm not sure what the deal is. Anyone have a good suggestion on home scales I could check out that aren't ridiculous expensive? I am not obsessed about the number on the scale, but I'm actually enjoying seeing how my body reacts from a lot of factors so I weigh myself all the time sometimes 2-4 times a day, cloths, no clothes, before/after food and work out, etc.

On a great note, my pants from three years ago are now fitting and fitting great! I'm pretty damn pumped. Now I can't wait to grow down and out of those too. That's the plan! I will be down to 196 by July 1. Where's July Team Skinny posting? Cool

I have always liked my Tanita. I don't think I have ever gained weight while sleeping....Hmmm...Got me on that one.

I've kind of been absent from this thread this month but I am excited I met my goal for the month. I made it back under 200 lbs. Its been a good month but a hard one. I'm in for another month so I'll see you on the next thread.
