Pre-race routine:

Typical breakfast with juice, coffee, bagel, cream cheese and hard-boiled egg.
Event warmup:

Stretched, and then also had a formal 'stretch' with a PT Co. that was on-site. Loosened up my arms, since planning to carry an American Flag during the race.

Ran a good race, although a somewhat strange motion since I was carry a large American Flag for the entire race.

Walked a good deal and stretched out my arms. Had a post-race massage.
