This race used to be in April and we got to use wetsuits. Then last year it was moved to July 4th weekend and we got bath water. This year it's in between in early June. Hopefully it won't be too hot. With how hot it's been lately, no rain, and such a small body of water, I'm expecting bath water again.

I'm in for the Oly, but with the weather forecasted to be over 100, am considering dropping back to the sprint. Yikes!

I did the Texas Tough Swim event last year in this lake, and it was bathwater. I think it was June?

Anyone doing the swim event the day before?

In for the sprint as well.  First race of the season for me.  Coming back from a foot injury, so this run should be interesting.

How's the bike course?  Advertised as 'slightly hilly' I think.  True?  I want flat!!

The description is right. It's slightly hilly. Nothing big, but there are a few rollers on the course.

Come on guys. The race is in the morning. It's not going to be that hot that early. Hopefully you guys will finish by noon and you won't have a problem.

Good luck everyone! Especially the first timers! It's an addiction, so you will all be vets before you know it!

They were apparently having some problems with a couple mats reading, particularly the bike start and end mat.
