Metroman Tri at Asbury Park

I also have signed up for the Intermediate distance. Have not done the race before but have done a race at Asbury Park. Streets are flat and so-so (there are places with potholes) while the run is up/down the boardwalk usually so mostly in sun. The only problem usually is that not all roads are closed to traffic so have to be aware of that when on bike, though the course is usually fast and fun! 

I did the sprint last year.  Good organization and crowd support right on the boardwalk.

The swim was tough with the swells (made sighting difficult as the bouy kept disappearing), and current .... several swimmers got caught in a riptide for a short while. 

The run was very enjoyable on the boardwalk but it was hot.

I'll be there on Saturday and will be attending their swim clinic, then plan to ride the course to scout it out.

Also will be changing my registration from the Intermediate to the sprint so I can do it with a buddy of mine who just signed up too.

Anyone doing the sprint on june 12th sunday!  I want to but for some reason idk how to register bc the website does not work for me.......

Signed up for the sprint in early june.  It will be my second race and my first race with an OWS.  Looking forward to it!!!
