Pre-race routine:

Wake up, quick breakfast of cereal and yoghurt with a little protein powder. Double check bag, and go. So nice to have a local (within 15 miles) race!

Wow, for some reason, the swim was ROUGH! Washing machine of arms ang legs. I got swum over and swam over someone else. It didn't clear up for a while for some reason.
Tried to find a draft, but didn't get anything.
What would you do differently?:

Swim to a clear area.

Louis yelled at me to stop camping, but I did alright. Not too bad getting in the shoes, but I think I will cut out the tongue to make it work better.

Felt good. My HR was high the whole time, but I was feeling good. Got up to 26 mph on some parts. Glad it was a sprint at that speed! Significantly faster than last year on the giant.
What would you do differently?:

More training at the higher pace.

Got a little flustered because dismount was in a different place so I ran in my bike shoes. Socks went on good and I got out on the road!
What would you do differently?:

Not fiddle with foot pod. I couldn't get it on and didn't want to waste the time.

Wow, need to get my run back on. All the bike training has helped, but my run is suffering. I should be able to do 7:30 for this distance.
