Pre-race routine:

5am wake up, breakfast of museli (2/3 of a scoop) plus raisins, very large espresso. 750ml bottle of lucazade sport (mixed to full strength) between waking up and start of race.

time in the season - i'm only in base 2 so not fully fit yet.
Didn't taper as this isn't one of my A races

24" of my pb from last year but four weeks earlier in the season so pleased with this
