Comments: reasonably good swim but What would you do differently?: spend more time in open water prior to race (i've only done one session this year Transition 1

Comments: felt good on the run but just couldn't up the pace (all of last weekends running holding me back i guess) Post race
Warm down: stretching and a massage What limited your ability to perform faster: time in the season - i'm only in base 2 so not fully fit yet. 5am wake up, breakfast of museli (2/3 of a scoop) plus raisins, very large espresso. 750ml bottle of lucazade sport (mixed to full strength) between waking up and start of race.
Drive to emberton, set up kit, walk transition then race brief followed by a short swim warm up
