Comments:

My race today was HORRIBLE! I haven't ran that slow in several weeks. It was hot, 100% humidity, and it just sucked. It affected everyone the same way--we all seemed to struggle with it. What started as a goal of 30 minutes, ended up being the goal of just finishing without stopping to walk. I did run the whole way!
What would you do differently?:

Lose 50 pounds!
Post race
Warm down:

Not much. Waited for awards ceremony, walked a little bit.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Heat and weight.

Event comments:

Will run it again next year. I need to lose a bunch of weight to get serious about running.

3 out of 4 aint bad.  Good job.  Also, good job on some key take-aways.  I remember last year thinking I should've taken my hydration pack.  We will try to remember that next year.    I'm glad this race has gotten you fired up about making changes.  The definition of insanity is doing the same thing but expecting different results.
