Swim
Comments: Swim was ok overall. It was congested at the first bouy and I had a difficult time getting around people, but despite all of that I was still faster than last year What would you do differently?: Maybe enter the water at the back of the pack Transition 1
Comments: I wanted to improve T1 this year so I decided to leave my shoes connected to the bike ride without socks What would you do differently?: not struggle getting started on the bike Bike
Comments: I felt really good on the bike course. 18mph average is really good for me. What would you do differently?: Purchase an aero helmet and zip wheels Transition 2
Comments: I am satisfied with T2 What would you do differently?: be faster Run
Comments: The run felt slow to me and was much slower than last year. I had a side cramp for 90% of the run so I paced myself slower then picked it up at the very end. What would you do differently?: next time I will not eat a bunch for fruit right before the race and not drink too much water on the bike Post race
Warm down: eat food and socialize with fellow BT'ers What limited your ability to perform faster: side cramp and training focused on half iron man in the fall (long duration low intensity right now) Last updated: 2010-05-14 12:00 AM
