Swim
Comments: Started off strong, faded at the end. No passing necessary - perfect positioning for all 4 of us in the lane. It worked out very well. Transition 1
Comments: Good transition for me. I can save time with some easy changes - tri suit so no need for bike tights, leave shirt off or swim with shirt - and big changes - pre-clip shoes, jump on bike. Bike
Comments: Very frustrated with my bike speed. This is a consistent number with the Fort Collins Club tri a few weeks ago and that same route last fall. It is an improvement over 1 year ago, but my bike speed has not changed in 9 months. I was convinced I would get 20.0 MPH, but it was not to be. That would have boosted me by 2 minutes. What would you do differently?: Need to figure out why I'm not increasing in speed on the bike. Transition 2
Comments: Not bad. I'm not sure how to improve this transition time. I could decrease my bike time by a few seconds by coming out of the shoes early a better dismount, but I'm unclear on how this can go up. No tie laces would be a good start. Run
Comments: Not a bad run, but a little slower than I expected. I don't think I allowed the downhills to speed up enough. Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: Slow bike, slightly slow run. I need to improve my bike speed as I've been stuck there for some time now. It isn't getting worse, but it isn't improving. Last updated: 2010-06-07 12:00 AM
