Subject: Specialized Specialized Tri-Spoke wheels, 700c - $ For sale -- set of my old race wheels. I don't use 700c any more for racing, so these are up for sale. They've been sitting unused for some time, so though they may be "old", they don't have a lot of miles on them.
Details: Specialized Tri-spoke, front and rear, 700c, will include the tires (Kenda Koncept Lite front in new condition -- flashing still on the center bead, I don't think this tire has even been ridden on -- and Continental Super Sport Ultra rear, both 23mm) and tubes. No cassette or quick releases. Front wheel has spacers, a lockring, and an Avocet magnet ring on the right side (the front wheel has threads for a thread-on freewheel -- would need to swap out the axle in order to use it as a rear wheel for track or road) which can be easily removed (the magnet ring is only held on with silicone caulking). There is some surface rust on the locknuts and spacers. However!!! the bearings and cassette body are still butter smooth as new. The cassette body splines (Shimano) were modified to fit an 11T small cog. These were bought when 8-speed was the norm, but the spline configuration hasn't changed since, even though 10-speed is the norm now.
Price: $350 plus actual shipping.
