Help needed. Road bike or Tri bike

Hello, I'm a newbie to triathlons. Do a bit of running and lots of mountain biking and just completed my first 2 triathlons (loved it so much that out of impulse bought a tri bike Felt B2 with ultegra components)

I already owned a road bike which I recently also out of impulse just upgraded to a scott addict SL with top notch kits.

My question is, am I better off selling my mid level tri bike and getting some fast aero wheels and clip on aero bars for my scott. would this be quicker than keeping and racing with the tri bike. don;t reallt want to spend more money on my tri bike. wheels are soooo expensive
