Chattanooga Waterfront Triathlon

A friend and I are doing the race. Going up Saturday to enjoy the area and hit the aquarium. I just got back from a 3 week vacation. I did zero workouts due to lower back pain and my friend just finished doing IMCDA so our race goals only including having a good time.

Glad to know another BT'er will be there!  Good luck to you too!  This should be a fun race- especially swimming with the current.  Do you know anything about the courses?  I was wondering how hilly it'll be- some people have told me that downtwon Chattanooga is relatively flat. 

Yes, I believe the bike and run are relatively flat even though it is quite hilly driving into the city. It should be lots of fun. I've never done a river swim so this will be interesting. Looks like the weather will be nice this weekend as well. Ahhhhh....I just love race weekends!

Good luck you guys. I opted for the shorter Carrollton race this weekend. Still intimidated by the longer swims. I guess I need to step it up and tri and Oly at some point.
