1st ever triathlon so I didnt have a routine yet, I live in Salisbury so I got to sleep in!

Not sure how the timing group broke down the transition time so I'm unsure about it. Ate a hammer gel, struggled with my bike jersey, garmin forerunner on handlebars

Forget the jersey, hammer gel before the swim

I was about to quit my first 300 yards into the run, no one briefed me about how youre legs feel when you try to run after hammering it on a bike.
What would you do differently?:

Get out and run some laps and get stronger

Being green and a little out of shape

Being my first tri, in my town, only $35, it was very well put together and I couldnt believe the local support. It was great.
