Got up at 5:20am, at a waffle with PB and got dressed. Drank water.

Horribly hot and humid. Did not feel like my legs could go as fast as I wanted them to and by the end of the second mile, they felt 20 lbs heavier.
What would you do differently?:

Need to train more at a faster speed.

Ate watermelon, drank water and bought a new pair of shoes.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Not doing enough speed work recently.
