Who's racing on the 10th?

I'm in again (3rd year in a row) and one of my kiddos is doing the kids race.

Heres a link to the website.

I really wish I could, but I will not be able to do to other obligations.

a bunch of the kids and parents from my kids swim team do it each year and I was really looking forward to doing it this year.

I would assume it is a really "fun" small event.

I might do it. At first I thought it was the same weekend as Chelanman which I am doing but it is the weekend before so maybe. I think if I do I'll find someone to make a relay out of it as my achilles tendon has been bothering me. It would be a great swim/bike brick workout before Chelanman.

I've done the race the last couple of years and it is really a fun, family type of event that has a beautiful bike leg. Very nice little park where the swim and transitions are and lots of prizes.

im in. its going to be my second tri and my wife and 6 year old's first. looking forward to it!

im doing LS70.3 in August and my training plan has me doing long bike rides on saturday's. i have a few smaller sprint/oly's planned between now and then. i assume the long bike rides i have on saturday's should be made up for some other time during the week??

I wanted to do it as a team with my husband this year for something different, but due to a lot of bills and missing the early registration...decided it was going to be too expensive.  So I went with a much cheaper alternative event instread:  an open water swim at Silver Lake in Everett at 7 p.m., Friday, July 9.   (Obviously, it wouldn't have worked to do both; I had been disappointed that the swim and the triathlon were back to back, but problem solved now.

Maybe next year I'll be back at Clear Lake! Cool Have fun everyone!

I did this one a couple of years ago and loved it. Both last year and this year I have had conflicts with other races.Hopefully next year it will work out for me I highly recommend it!

I am in if I can get my registration in tomorrow.  I stopped by the office on Friday but they were closed due to a forced furlough day.... dang county government.

Looking forward to a good race in some sunny weather!!  I rode this morning in the rain and just finished a run in the glorious sunshine.  its nice to know that spring has finally sprung.  Oh wait wasn't it the 4th of July yesterday?!

Well, it looks like we'll have nice weather for the race.  I'm looking forward to meeting any of you that make it up.  I've got a neon yellow tri top.  Say hi if you see me.
