Yeah, their game is really slanted towards the sprinters.

It should be tough to win with out picking the GC or at the least a guy who wore the Jersey for a lot of days, but that's not how their scoring works.

Note to self: In 2011, just pick all the sprinters for the VS game.  It is the easiest way to pick up tons of points even if it is a limited number of stages that you score in.

ya GC on velo and sprinters on versus, lose alot of sprint stages on vs because of the prerace phase but i think its worth it.

Alright, Neal is the one we are gunning for now.  He got clipped on Tyler's retirement from the race.  So, maybe the rest of us have a chance.

Yeah, I was a bit bummed about Tyler.  I have two guys out now so you guys should be able to catch me.

BTW, I am leading the velogames league too!  Maybe I am in the wrong business.

What do you guys think about Contador attacking when Schleck has a mechanical problem?

For a popped chain there really should be no mercy..

If you are AS, what do you do now if AC has a flat?

On a happier note, I do have T Voeckler on my squad...

Why not?  I'm not a Contador fan, but exploit the weakness.   Perhaps the Saxo Bank team needs a better mechanic.

I have Voeckler on my squad also.  I had him last year too and he won a stage then.

My understanding of TdF etiquette is that if the yellow jersey has a mechanical problem, no one attacks until the problem is fixed.  In the past I have seen a lot of guys hold up for issues like that.  Did you guys see the people booing Contador on the podium because of the attack?

x2 yellow jersey commands alot of respect whether you want to or not. If the yellow jersey stops to pee everyone does. its just the way it goes.

man, my loss of over 150 points due to not having the guys on active roster while they scored points.  Ugh.  I need thor to soar and Robbie to fall out of top 16.  Yah, right.   I will have a clear strategy for VS game next year.

Congrats to Neal.

Thanks, I won the Velogames league too.  It was fun.  The leagues make the race more interesting.  They make you think more about how teams are put together and about individual riders that are not stars.

I would have traded the wins to have seen Schleck overtake Contador in that TT though.

I did the same thing until around stage 8 I realized you have to check the box to make the roster stick. I will know better next year. Nice job Neal!
