Comments: This was a good run for me. My Garmin time was 26:41 but let's not split hairs! I paced myself evenly throughout the race, speeding up when I thought I was too slow. Could have gone faster, maybe. Did speed up at the end as I had to overtake the family and their double stroller. What would you do differently?: Nothing. Get some better tunes though the ones I had weren't that bad.  Post race
Warm down: Got some water, banana and just watched the other finishers! What limited your ability to perform faster: Absolutely nothing. Or maybe it was my feet!! No wait it was my legs! Legs and feet! Damn you! Event comments: I like this race. Small but has a good course. There wasn't a water station until mile 2 which kinda sucked but I wasn't too hot or dehydrated. Got up around 6:30. Nice having a race 5 minutes from your house. Had a banana and some water. Went to 7-11 for my Big Gulp of diet Coke. Nasty nasty habit. Had a Marathon Bar, of course!!
Got to the site and walked around, gave some bars out to people. Hit the bathroom. Nice to have a bathroom instead of a porta-potty!!!! Little stretching.
