Anyone else doing this race Saturday? I heard the bike is pretty challenging. Rolling hills and a lot of turns.

Did you do it? How was it? Sorry, didn't see this until too late.

Yes, I did do it. The race overall was good. Very well run and organized. The only complaint I would have is no chip timing. Every race should be chip timed at this point.

The swim was 400 meters in a six lane pool they divided into 8 very narrow lanes. I kept bumping into the lane rope because I kept trying to follow the the lane markers on the bottom of the pool.

The bike was very challenging. It was 17 miles of continuous rolling hills. There also seemed to be a lot of turns.

The run was 5K out and back. Not much to say here. Pretty flat with one up hill on the way out and one down hill on the way home.

Thanks for the info, glad you enjoyed it. Are you doing the Rockton YMCA Tri on July 24th? I'll be there, looking for a great race- I understand that the bike course is very flat here.

I am doing the Rockton Tri. I did this race a couple years ago and the bike course is very flat. The run is also flat. Both bike and run are out and back courses. Very fast and fun race!!!
