Comments:

Started late and went WAY wide to keep a clear lane. Maybe too wide.
What would you do differently?:

Swim a bit harder and keep a better line.

Comments:

I kept my water bottles for the bike leg in a small cooler and they were still frozen for the ride.
What would you do differently?:

Put the water bottles on the bike before the swim.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Lack of training during the 3 weeks I was nursing my back injury.

What did think of the BNS people....I passed on this one till they prove that they can pull it off. They dropped the ball on a mudrun in which they over promised and under delivered. Was the water really 82 deg. already....I'm looking at Marlboro, but it looks a little swampy at 85 plus

From my perspective, everything seemed great, but this was my first event of any kind so I don't have anything to judge them against.  The course was certainly well marked and there were plenty of volunteers helping both early in the morning during set up and throughout the race.  Free pizza and beer was nice too.  And yes, the water really did seem 82.  Lake Gardner's pretty small, and had been warming up steadily in the previous week and half.
