Comments: Holy crap...a hill like that to start the race isn't necessarily a good thing because once you're breathless it takes some serious concentration to get things back under control Transition 1
Comments: Tried to make it as speedy a transition as possible. I mean we're only talking biathlon here. but somehow I took as long as I would have at a tri...I'm thinking maybe because the mats were spaced kinda far? Bike
Comments: Felt great on the bike. Actually got into my aero bars which has been a really big deal for me... Transition 2
Run
Comments: the second run was getting kind of tough during the uphills. Other than that I felt pretty good Post race

got everything into and onto the car the night before. Had race outfit ready to put on so the only thing left to do in the am was usual hygiene stuff, get dressed, mix HEED and head out. Wow...does this make things so much simpler!
Got to event way too early. I had wanted to leave time because I wasn't positive where I was going. I also needed to still get my packet. Once there saw a bunch of folks I hadn't seen in a while. That was nice. Did a few laps of jogging around park to get the juices flowing
