I am barely a month into training for my first tri (sprint distance) and I have been doing it by myself. I would like to train with someone if at all possible. Thanks.

My training schedule's out of whack right now but I'm managing to put a workout here and there. What part of town are you in?

I'm up in P-ville.

If you're interested, there's this loop we ride on weekends. Starts near Anderson Mill/620...then head to Jollyville...take 360 south....take Bee Caves to Hwy 71...then 71 to 620 north back to Anderson Mill. It's roughly 45 miles give or take a few if we decide to do more hills.

I'll be in Austin at a conference next week - staying at a swanky hotel downtown, but hoping to get a short, easy ride in EARLY Thursday a.m. before the first scheduled morning session. (No long ride; race that Saturday!) PM me if you'd like to meet up, or if you can suggest a decent 45-minute route that won't get me squashed by cars! I'll have my car so can drive a short distance from downtown to ride if necessary. In Houston I ride in traffic, but I know the streets. Not so Austin.
