Pre-race routine:

Arrived very early, before parking opened, tried to eat, but could only manage to get down half a bagel and part of a fruit cup. Set up transition, met some people. Transition individually numbered so no fighting for rack space.
Event warmup:

Got in the water to get used to it, had to adjust goggles several times so they wouldn't fall off.

Crashed on second loop trying to turn on to the wrong street, landed in the sand, so okay. Ran out of water on 5th street on second loop, don't know if that was because of crash (water splasing from aero bottle

lack of run training...anyone want to teach me how to run?? I knew how to run in college, but have now reverted to bad form.
